Biomedical Engineering is the application of engineering in biology and in medicine. It is a strategic area for Brazil, which requires the production and dissemination of knowledge for the advance of science and technology related to wellness and disease prevention and rehabilitation.
The pedagogical project of the Biomedical Engineering undergraduate course is innovative and is guided by the pedagogical project of the Federal University of ABC, which was developed based on the document “Subsidies for Higher Education Reform“, written by the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and the “Declaration of Bologna“, written by the European ministers of education.
